Early involvement allows me to consider the complete picture, including spatial planning, functionality, lighting, storage, materials and the relationship between different areas of your home. It can also prevent expensive changes later, when decisions become more difficult to reverse.

However, it is never too late to ask for guidance. An Initial Design Consultation can also be valuable if your renovation is already underway or you simply need clarity before making your next decision.

The Initial Design Consultation is a two-hour meeting in your home and the starting point of your design journey.

We will walk through the relevant spaces together, discuss how you live and identify what is and isn’t working. We will also explore your ideas, priorities, preferred style, budget and any existing furniture, artwork or special pieces you would like to retain.

I will offer practical design advice and identify opportunities for improving the layout, functionality and overall feeling of your home. Where appropriate, I may also capture measurements and 3D imagery to assist with future design work.

Following the consultation, I can recommend the most appropriate next steps. Any plans, sourcing, visualisations or additional design work will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding.

Absolutely. You do not need to be undertaking a complete renovation to benefit from professional design advice.

I can help with a single room, including a kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedroom, entrance or outdoor space. Depending on what you need, this may begin and end with an Initial Design Consultation or continue into a more detailed single-room design service.

For smaller or more focused projects, design consultancy can also be provided on an hourly basis, giving you access to professional advice without committing to a full design service.

Yes. Depending on the scope of your project, I can provide floor plans, furniture layouts, spatial planning, cabinetry and joinery concepts, lighting and electrical plans, plumbing and tiling plans, finishes schedules and realistic 3D visualisations.

These allow you to understand how the proposed design will look and function before work begins. They also give builders, cabinetmakers and other trades clear information to work from, helping to reduce uncertainty and avoid costly misunderstandings.

The documentation required will be tailored to your project and clearly outlined in your design proposal. Plans and 3D visualisations are not included within the Initial Design Consultation unless specifically agreed.

Through my relationships with trusted suppliers, manufacturers and design brands, I can often access trade pricing across furniture, lighting, flooring, tiles, tapware, fabrics and homewares.

Where available, these savings are passed on to you and typically range from 10% to 50%, depending on the supplier and product.

If you would like me to place and manage your orders, a 7% procurement and management fee applies. This service can include confirming the correct product, size, finish and configuration, placing orders, liaising with suppliers and coordinating delivery details.

Procurement is entirely optional. You are also welcome to purchase approved selections directly if you would prefer to manage the ordering process yourself.

My services are designed to be flexible, and the right level of involvement depends on both your project and your available budget.

Single-room renovations and full-service projects require a realistic budget for professional design, quality materials, skilled trades and implementation. For larger renovations and new builds, I work best with clients who value thoughtful spatial planning, considered finishes and a cohesive result rather than making decisions one element at a time.

During our initial conversation, I will ask about your anticipated budget and priorities. If I believe a different level of service would offer better value, or that the scope and budget are not comfortably aligned … I will always be honest with you.

Whether your style is contemporary, classic, coastal, modern, timeless or something entirely your own, my role is to bring your vision together in a way that feels cohesive, practical and uniquely personal.

The result isn't a home that looks like one of my previous projects, it's a home that feels completely yours.

I can usually arrange an initial design consultation within one to two weeks.

For larger renovation projects, availability varies depending on my current workload. During our initial conversation, I'll let you know my earliest start date and provide a realistic timeline for your project, so you'll know exactly what to expect from the outset.

Interior design fees vary depending on the size and complexity of your project, the level of detail required and how much support you would like throughout the process.

A focused consultation or single-room project will naturally require a different level of investment from a complete renovation or new build. Once I understand your home, priorities and the scope of work involved, I will recommend the most appropriate design service and provide clear information about the associated fees.

My initial design consultation fee is $650 + GST.

Before beginning any work, you will receive an agreed scope outlining the design services, estimated hours or tailored project fee, so you can make an informed decision about how you would like to proceed.
