Living Made Easy
Designed around the way the homeowners live, gather and connect, this contemporary living and dining space celebrates the beauty of thoughtful curation and the stories that existing pieces can bring to a home.
Rather than beginning anew, the design honours the client's original Bernard Vuarnesson dining and coffee tables, allowing them to remain at the heart of the space. These treasured pieces are complemented by carefully selected furnishings and accessories, including an Artisan Ink Vapour rug, Tom Dixon accents, Mad et Len objects and the sculptural Audo Échasse collection.
Oversized timber posts finished in Jaguar Fresco, together with bone French-washed walls and ceilings, help define an intimate lounge setting while celebrating the architectural character of the home. Timber shutters provide privacy when required, while framing views and enhancing the connection to the outdoors.
A BoConcept swivel chair, Offset stool and Simon James Bloom pendant contribute to the relaxed and layered atmosphere, while light oak herringbone flooring and underfloor heating provide warmth and comfort throughout the seasons. A minimalist entertainment unit and discreet Frame television allow artwork and personal objects to take precedence, ensuring the space remains a reflection of the people who inhabit it.
The result is a home that feels effortless and lived in—a space designed not for perfection, but for connection, conversation and the everyday moments that matter most.

Now offering seamless integration with the outdoors, the living area flows effortlessly onto the extended and sheltered deck via stunning bifolds.
Pre-renovation: The old dining area and deck was lifeless and dated, but had so much potential. By extending the deck, adding bifolds and outdoor louvres to open the space up, has created a seamless and highly functional entertaining zone.
